First Thursday - Owl Prowl
Time & Location
About the Event
On the first Thursday of every month, the Masonville Cove Campus holds extended hours, where the general public is permitted to explore the campus until sunset. Pre-registered guests will be permitted to explore the campus after sunset on a free guided walk, hosted by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Come learn about one of the most famous nighttime creatures, the owl! You will learn how people can dissect an owl pellet to unravel the mystery of what an owl does at night and what makes them the silent hunter. During this program, you will have the rare chance to stay late and see firsthand the fascinating world of owls outside at night. (click READ MORE below)
