Homeschool Days: Watershed Wonders

Students are introduced to the concept of Watershed and how our actions on land impact the health of our local waterways and the Chesapeake Bay. Through an interactive treasure map, students learn about the unique habitat and organisms that make the Chesapeake Bay such an important ecosystem. Using microscopes, students identify Plankton and understand the importance of Plankton as the basis of the Chesapeake Bay food web and living indicators of water quality. Suggested for Grades 2 to 5
