About the Event
Enjoy a 60-minute tour of Masonville Cove, led by a professional guide, featuring on-the-water interpretive discussions about the history of Masonville Cove (past, present, and future), its current mission, success stories, and opportunities to become a volunteer at Masonville Cove. Kayaking tours will be offered at 9:30AM, 11:00AM, and 12:30PM.
Participants must be at least 13 years of age and all participants will be required to sign a waiver the day of the event prior to participating. Participants will be using tandem kayaks (2 people per watercraft) and therefore the weight limit is 195 lbs per paddler (or 390 lbs per tandem kayak). Participants must arrive at the designated meeting point 15 minutes prior to their reserved kayaking tour time.
Mandatory items to bring include water sports shoes (bare feet are NOT permitted on the watercraft), water, sun block, and appropriate swim attire. Optional items include a beach towel,…
