About the Event
Here's your chance to work alongside biologists as we discover what roams Masonville Cove after hours.
Join us for this multi-day program and learn about various aspects of wildlife surveys in each part!
This part will focus on setting trail cameras and how they are used.
No prior experience required! Ideal for adults and teenagers.
Please dress warmly and registration is required. Students may also earn service-learning hours from this experience. You'll have an opportunity to learn:
- How mammals impact our city greenspaces
- What wildlife management is
- How to setup a trail camera and ID wildlife seen on video
- How to survey deer using infrared camera after sunset (optional)
