About the Event
Join us for the resceduled event! Nature Worx activities use mindfulness and meditation techniques, as well as forest therapy, a healing practice that originated in Japan and engages all the senses during slow, contemplative walks in nature. There is extensive scientific evidence that being outdoors in nature can lower our heart rate and blood pressure, decrease levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and boost our mood by increasing levels of serotonin and endorphin in the brain. Nature Worx helps people connect to the healing properties of nature in an enjoyable, engaging manner with activities that are repeatable anywhere.
