About the Event

Masonville Cove Partnership in collaboration with the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company is proud to present Shakespeare at the Cove! This will be an immersive production and a celebration of William Shakespeare’s love for the natural world. Six scenes that highlight the Bard’s use of nature imagery; plays included will be Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, Twelfth Night, Henry V, and Macbeth. Come see and hear local actors take the poetry of Shakespeare and prove once and for all that Shakespeare is for everyone! Registration is required for this free event.


There will be three performances, 1 PM, 3:30 PM, and 5 PM.


There will also be ice cream provided throughout the event by Ben and Jerry’s!


Parking will be available in the overflow lot for Masonville Cove, but it is available on a first come, first served basis.
