We will share stories and learn about the owls of Maryland at Masonville while making adorable owls out of pinecones. Enjoy the great outdoors on a walk with us afterwards and take a moment to appreciate these animals! Registration required.

Walktober at Masonville Cove 2023 Join Captain Trash Wheel as a "sole mate" for a guided sunset walk through the Masonville campus to celebrate Maryland Walk Day as part of Walktober! Our walking group name for the walk is Masonville Cove.

Eagle Fledge Celebration Help us celebrate the coming of age of Baltimore’s only documented nesting bald eaglets! Hone your skills in bird ID when you try to catch a glimpse of the juvenile bald eagles that call Masonville Cove home. Enjoy nature exploration and free family-friendly activities. Drop In Field Trip: Chesapeake Bay Critters Hands on Environmental Education programs ideal for homeschool families and all students on days off of school! $20 per participant. Registration required.

Summer Science and Nature Program: Nature's Superheroes Explore, Discover, and Engage at the Nation's First Urban Wildlife refuge Partnership! Participants will engage in hands on learning on our 52 acre waterfront campus, discover in our science labs, and explore the natural world around them.

Saturday, Sept 25 Kayaking as part of Urban Wildlife Conservation Celebration Join us for a free kayaking tour of Masonville Cove! Beginner-level kayaking instruction and all necessary equipment including life jackets will be provided. Please note the age and weight limits before registration.
