Guided Nature Walk Join us for this walk around the trails of Masonville Cove! We will begin with a short introduction to the campus and the animals who live here. There is always something interesting to see when walking along in nature!

Nature for Kids Join us for an in-person craft inspired by nature! For February we will be sharing stories and enjoying a mini lesson about groundhogs while crafting our groundhog puppets. Hopefully these puppets don't see their shadow! Registration required.

TreeBaltimore at Masonville Cove Meet with members of TreeBaltimore at Masonville Cove and bring some nature home with you! Up to two free trees can be claimed per Baltimore City family. Trees may be ordered for pickup at Masonville Cove or claimed on the day of the event while inventory is available.

Patterson Park Audubon Latino Junior Ranger Angler Fishing Day Welcome Patterson Park Audubon to the Junior Ranger Angler fishing day! Have you ever wondered who is swimming in the Cove? Spend the morning on the pier and enjoy guided fishing lessons for those wanting to learn how to fish! All fishing supplies and snacks will be available for free.

Homeschool Days: Watershed Wonders Students are introduced to the concept of Watershed and how our actions on land impact the health of our local waterways and the Chesapeake Bay.

Kayaking at Masonville Cove Join us for a free kayaking tour of Masonville Cove. Beginner-level kayaking instruction and all necessary equipment will be provided. Please note the weight limit and COVID-19 precautions before registration.

Nature for Kids (Self-Lead) Usher in the beautiful fall weather and windy days to come by creating a windchime! While our chimes won't make magical melodies, they'll still add a colorful touch to any garden or windowsill. All participants will receive a take-home supply kit. Registration required.

Budding Botanists This day is All About Plants! Students will explore Masonville’s Nature trails and learn how to identify different native plants and test their skills at identifying the different plant parts in nature.
