Nature for Kids (Self-Lead) Usher in the beautiful fall weather and windy days to come by creating a windchime! While our chimes won't make magical melodies, they'll still add a colorful touch to any garden or windowsill. All participants will receive a take-home supply kit. Registration required.

Budding Botanists This day is All About Plants! Students will explore Masonville’s Nature trails and learn how to identify different native plants and test their skills at identifying the different plant parts in nature.

Fall Fauna Nature Walk Join us for this walk around the trails of Masonville Cove! We will begin with a short introduction to the campus and the animals who live here. Take a stroll with us around Masonville Cove to experience the many species migrating and settling in for the winter.

BioBlitz with the National Aquarium Participate in our seventh annual BioBlitz by working with wildlife experts and community volunteers to find, identify and record plant and animal species that live at Masonville Cove.

1st Thursday: March Movie Night Come join us for a movie night and don't worry about the popcorn! Enjoy a warm break with us from the cold as we all catch up and look ahead. We will be showing the movie the Lorax, a hit for the whole family. Snacks are available for everyone. Registration required.

International Coastal Cleanup at Masonville Cove (PM Session) Join the Aquarium to remove harmful marine debris from the shoreline at the Masonville Cove campus. Learn about sources and effects of marine debris, and what you can do to help! Debris data collected at this event will contribute to the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup.

Masonville Cove Spring Easter Egg Hunt Join us at Masonville for a celebration of Easter and Spring! Enjoy the great outdoors on an Easter Egg Hunt, activities, and walk with us to take a moment to appreciate nature. Open to all ages. Registration required.

Water Scientist for a Day! Become a water scientist for a day! This event is free and open to the public, however registration is required. Participants 18 and under must be supervised by an adult.

Nature for Kids Join us for an in-person craft inspired by nature! For February we will be sharing stories and enjoying a mini lesson about groundhogs while crafting our groundhog puppets. Hopefully these puppets don't see their shadow! Registration required.
