City Nature Challenge City Nature Challenge is an annual community science competition for cities to find and document plants and wildlife found in urban areas. As Partners with the National Aquarium, we are calling on everyone to join us in exploring, identifying and documenting the wildlife around you!

Geocaching Cache in, Trash Out (CITO) Event Anyone can geocache by using GPS devices to find containers with “treasures” in the outdoors! This popular program brings geocachers together to improve nature by cleaning up litter at geocache-friendly spaces. Captain will beam with pride while you work together to leave the world a better place!

Community Shoreline Clean Up Make Captain Trash Wheel proud and help clean up the shoreline at Masonville Cove! This event is also a student service learning hours opportunity. Registration required.

Nature for Kids: Bursting Buds! Join us for an in-person craft inspired by nature! For March we will be sharing stories and enjoying a mini lesson about trees and spring while finger painting some blossoming trees. Enjoy the great outdoors and the return of spring at Masonville Cove with us! Registration required.

Summer Science and Nature Program: Exploring the Chesapeake Bay Explore, Discover, and Engage at the Nation's First Urban Wildlife refuge Partnership! Participants will engage in hands on learning on our 52 acre waterfront campus, discover in our science labs, and explore the natural world around them.

Sound Healing & Nature Walk Collaboration with WOCO Join WOCO and Masonville Cove in a collaborative walk through the beautiful Urban Wildlife campus and learn all about the life within and the fascinating history of the Cove. We will close off this adventure with a rejuvenating sound healing meditation in nature.
