Fall Foliage Nature Walk Join us for this walk around the trails of Masonville Cove! We will begin with a short introduction to the campus and the animals who live here. Experience the vibrant leaves of Autumn with us on a guided walk around Masonville Cove.

Halloween Evening Bat Walk at Garrett Park Join Masonville Cove and Baltimore Green Space in celebrating National Bat Week! Did you know over 300 species of fruit depend on bats for pollination? Come hang with the bats to learn more about our nocturnal friends! Gear will be provided and registration is required for this free event.

Island Fever Students are introduced to the concept of urban heat islands and investigate temperatures of different surfaces when exposed to heat/light with infrared thermometers.

Geocaching Cache in, Trash Out (CITO) Event Anyone can geocache by using GPS devices to find containers with “treasures” in the outdoors! This popular program brings geocachers together to improve nature by cleaning up litter at geocache-friendly spaces. Captain will beam with pride while you work together to leave the world a better place!

Community Shoreline Clean Up Make Captain Trash Wheel proud and help clean up the shoreline at Masonville Cove! This event is also a student service learning hours opportunity. Registration required.
