Learn about sources and effects of marine debris, and what you can do to help! Debris data collected at this event will contribute to the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup.

Rescheduled: Evening Bat Walk at Garrett Park Join Masonville Cove and Baltimore Green Space in celebrating National Bat Week! Did you know over 300 species of fruit depend on bats for pollination? Come hang with the bats to learn more about our nocturnal friends! Gear will be provided and registration is required for this free event.

Nature for Kids: Winter Waterfowl Binoculars Join us for an in-person craft inspired by nature! We will share stories and learn about the winter birds and waterfowl at Masonville while making our own creative binoculars. Enjoy the great outdoors on a walk with us afterwards and take a moment to appreciate these animals! Registration required.

BioBlitz with the National Aquarium 2021 Participate in our annual BioBlitz by working with wildlife experts and community volunteers to find, identify, and record plant and animal species that live at Masonville Cove.

July Kayaking at Masonville Cove Join us for a free kayaking tour of Masonville Cove. Beginner-level kayaking instruction and all necessary equipment will be provided. Please note the weight limit and COVID-19 precautions before registration.

Mindful Nature Walk at Masonville Cove Led by guides from Nature Worx, we will explore the beautiful grounds at Masonville Cove, slowly walking and pausing frequently, using all of our senses to drop out of doing mode and into being mode.

Use your skills in bird ID as you try to catch a glimpse of the juvenile bald eagles that call Masonville Cove home. Enjoy nature exploration and free family-friendly activities.
