Literacy Celebration Meet local author Aja Dorsey Jackson and hear her share her new book "Plane Jane and the Capital Bee." Signed books will be available first come first served. Nature exploration and hands on projects will make for a fun family day! Registration required.

1st Thursday Family Fishing Evening Have you ever wondered who is swimming in the Cove? Spend an evening on the pier and enjoy guided fishing lessons for those wanting to learn how to fish! All fishing supplies and snacks will be available for free.

Homeschool Days: Insect Encounters $20 per participant- cash, check or card payment at the door. Experience what it's like to be an insect at Masonville Cove!

Sunday, Sept 26 Kayaking Join us for a free kayaking tour of Masonville Cove! Beginner-level kayaking instruction and all necessary equipment including life jackets will be provided. Please note the age and weight limits before registration. Registration coming soon!

International Coastal Cleanup at Masonville Cove Join the Aquarium to remove harmful marine debris from the shoreline at the Masonville Cove campus. Learn about sources and effects of marine debris, and what you can do to help! Debris data collected at this event will contribute to the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup.

Water Scientist for a Day! Become a water scientist for a day! This event is free and open to the public, however registration is required. Participants 18 and under must be supervised by an adult.

1st Thursday: Moana Movie Night Come join us for a movie night and don't worry about the popcorn! Enjoy a warm break with us from the cold as we all catch up and look ahead. We will be showing the movie Moana, a hit for the whole family. Snacks are available for everyone. Registration required but walk ins welcome.
